Expansion of SuperFrio's footprint in the interior of the state of PR strengthens its presence in the largest poultry and pork producing region in Brazil, and opens up opportunities for new operations in agribusiness and distribution in the western region of Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n
SuperFrio, a company controlled by Patria Investimentos, and one of the leaders in the refrigerated logistics industry in South America, announced today the acquisition of Espa\u00e7oFrio's Cascavel\/PR unit. The transaction strengthens SuperFrio's presence in Brazil's largest poultry and pork producing region; the region is also one of the largest fish producers in the country and a major consumer of corn and soy seeds \u2013 another important market served by the company.<\/p>\n
The Cascavel\/PR unit, which from today will operate under the SuperFrio brand, is recognized by customers as a reference in the quality of services provided and customer service. With a capacity of 12,000 pallets, around 70,000 m3, the warehouse is qualified to move and store products of animal origin for the domestic and foreign markets \u2013 the European Union, Russia, among other countries.<\/p>\n
The strategic acquisition of the Espa\u00e7oFrio unit in Cascavel\/PR, SuperFrio's 11th unit, represents an important milestone in the company's strategy, whose vision is to be the 1st option in refrigerated logistics in South America by 2023.<\/p>\n
