SuperFrio participates in the APAS Show event

In May, our commercial team participated in the event APAS Show, which took place at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. This is the largest food and beverage fair in the Americas and the largest supermarket fair in the world.

At the fair, large companies in the food and beverage chain, such as Nestlé, BRF, Seara, Froneri, Lactalis, Tirolez and others, exhibited their brands and products, promoting opportunities to expand relationships, visibility and generate good business.

In 2023, the 37th edition of the APAS Show presented the new concept of “Beyond Food”, which reflects its position of offering everything that is most relevant to the sector.

networking

The event lasted 4 days and provided more than 70 lectures, in which various subjects about the segment were addressed: market, trends, technology, logistics, infrastructure, finance, etc. A great opportunity to learn more about the food and beverage segment and exchange experiences, with the possibility of expanding the networking of partnerships between industry professionals.

In 2022 alone, the event had more than 115,500 visitors and had 819 exhibitors. In 2023, the event had more than 137,000 visits – an increase of 23.3% compared to 2022 and had 850 exhibitors, more than 200 of which were international.

“The fair was excellent, maintaining the usual level, with a strong presence of the largest companies in the sector. It was a unique opportunity to strengthen the relationship with our customers, talk about retail trends, how the industry plans to meet new market demands and how a strategic logistics partnership can contribute”, commented Tiago Simões, one of the SuperFrio representatives who was present at the event.

Social responsability

In addition to exchanging experiences and expanding business, the APAS Show also collected food and hygiene and cleaning products, which will be destined for civil society organizations that work with people in situations of social vulnerability.

The action aims to sensitize and make the supermarket sector and the food industry aware of the problems of social vulnerability as everyone's responsibility. In this 37th edition, 48 tons were collected, the highest mark in the history of the fair.

SuperFrio's participation in the event was a strategic opportunity for the company. We had the chance to increase our visibility, establish new relationships and generate business in the sector.
