SuperFrio announces investments in a container yard at the refrigerated logistics center in Mairinque-SP

With an initial capacity of 210 TEUS, the container yard will expand the service offer of the refrigerated logistics center

SuperFrio, a company controlled by Pátria Investimentos, and leader in the refrigerated logistics industry in South America according to the IARW, announced investments for the construction of a container yard at its Mairinque unit. The DC, which has a capacity of over 20,000 pallets, and is located close to a railway branch, will strengthen the service offer for food exporters and importers. The work schedule is expected to be carried out over the next two months and the start of operations is projected for this year.

SuperFrio already operates in the states of São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, with a strong presence in the agribusiness, food service, general storage, distribution and export and import markets.

According to SuperFrio's Commercial Director, Vinicius Falcão, “the integrated logistics solution with warehouse services, container yards and transport from or to the port of Santos, enables the reduction of logistical costs in the supply chain of food exporting and importing companies. In addition, our customers will no longer manage several suppliers, since SuperFrio will manage and execute all stages of the logistical process”.

The refrigerated logistics center in Mairinque-SP is strategically located close to the Raposo Tavares and Castelo Branco highways, with easy access to both Greater São Paulo, the interior of the state and the Port of Santos. With infrastructure planned to support movements of up to 50 thousand tons per month, and management backed by SuperFrio's SGI (Integrated Management System), which includes the application of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards and the HACCP Program, the logistics center also uses BY's state-of-the-art WMS.

“We will remain focused on growing together with our customers, either organically or through acquisitions, always inspired by our Vision: To be the first option in refrigerated logistics solutions in South America, by 2023”, emphasizes Francisco Moura, CEO of SuperFrio.
