SuperFrio inaugurates its 4th unit in Ribeirão Preto/SP and the 10th in Brazil

Result of a deal signed with one of the largest food companies in the world, SuperFrio built in record time the largest and most modern refrigerated distribution center in the interior of São Paulo

SuperFrio, a company controlled by Pátria Investimentos, and one of the leaders in the refrigerated logistics industry in South America, inaugurated on June 1st its newest unit, located in Ribeirão Preto. The result of a project carried out jointly with one of its main customers, the refrigerated distribution center is the largest and most modern in the interior of the state of São Paulo. Investments were in excess of R$ 30 million.

The distribution center has a capacity for around 7,000 pallets, approximately 65,000 m3, including frozen and chilled products, a large air-conditioned antechamber with more than 30 docks, and wide availability of maneuvering yards and parking lots. Located on the banks of the Anhanguera Highway, it facilitates the flow of perishable products throughout the interior of the state of São Paulo.

Constructive intelligence, one of SuperFrio's main expertise, was one of the project's great strengths: a record construction time of 90 days and innovations brought from the United States that resulted in an extremely modern DC.

“This project very clearly symbolizes one of the main pillars of our strategic planning: identifying needs of our customers that are not met by the market, and building intelligent solutions that reflect in cost reductions and improvement in the level of service”, said Francisco Moura, CEO of SuperFrio . “Our growth plan will continue to be guided by strengthening relationships with our customers, and we will carry out organic expansions and acquisitions in order to meet needs not currently met by the market. In 2019, in addition to the inauguration of the RP 4 unit, we will inaugurate three more units – another in Ribeirão Preto, in Itapoá/SC, and in Londrina/PR”.
