SuperFrio starts in-house operations for Bayer, in Campo Verde-MT

Since July, the company has carried out a logistical operation within the industrial seed plant of Bayer, a global agribusiness powerhouse.

SuperFrio, a company controlled by Pátria Investimentos, and leader in the refrigerated logistics industry in South America according to IARW, started in-house operations for Bayer at the Campo Verde/MT plant located on BR070. It is one of the largest industrial seed plants in Latin America. In addition to this operation, SuperFrio owns and operates refrigerated logistics centers for customers in the seed industry in several regions: Chapecó/SC, Arapongas/PR, Cambé/PR, Ribeirão Preto/SP, Campo Grande/MS, in addition to the CVDI unit also located in Campo Verde/MT on the BR070. A new unit is also under construction in the city of Cuiabá, which will start activities in March 2021.

According to the commercial manager of SuperFrio's Agro vertical, Josiane Galócio, the in-house operation in Campo Verde/MT is part of SuperFrio's strategic plan to offer integrated logistics solutions to its customers in the main food producing and consuming regions of the continent. “Our focus is to develop projects together with our customers, understanding and studying their needs, and building solutions that add value to the business. The in-house operation in Campo Verde/MT and the new unit in Cuiabá are examples of work carried out in partnership with one of our clients, Bayer, a global agribusiness giant.”

According to Eduardo Gomes, Logistics – Inbound Logistics Analyst at Bayer Brazil, “We are very satisfied with the quality and results achieved by the SuperFrio team that operates with us in Campo Verde. We had a great evolution in the logistical performance within our plant. Objective and quick daily alignment meetings were very important for the discussion of good practices, improvement in process control, transparency in communication, in addition to the remarkable engagement of employees and assertiveness in decision making.”
