With an initial capacity of 140,000 m3, CD will initially serve Tirolez, one of the most important dairy companies in Brazil
SuperFrio, a company controlled by Patria Investimentos, and leader in the refrigerated logistics industry in South America according to the IARW, will start operations in January 2021 RMSP unit, located next to RodoAnel Mario Covas, in Greater São Paulo. This will be the company's 23rd refrigerated logistics center in Brazil, the 12th in the state of São Paulo.
SuperFrio already operates in the states of São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, with a strong presence in the agribusiness, food service, general storage, distribution, export, import and co-packer markets.
The RMSP logistics center will offer logistics solutions for customers in the food industry, distributors, wholesalers, supermarkets and catering chains for communities. The focus will be on supplying Greater São Paulo, the largest consumer region on the continent. The total storage capacity will be 140 thousand m3, equivalent to around 18,000 pallets.
According to the Commercial Director, Vinícius Falcão, the RMSP refrigerated logistics center is part of the SuperFrio's strategic plan to offer integrated logistics solutions to its customers in the main food producing and consuming regions of the continent. “The CD has an exceptional location, at the intersection between Raposo Tavares Highway and RodoAnel, 10km away from Marginal Pinheiros. The state-of-the-art infrastructure includes a large antechamber, a layout planned for intense picking operations, patios and areas for parking vehicles. The refrigeration system technology is second to none, enabling energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. We are very happy to start the DC operations with an important partner of SuperFrio, Laticínios Tirolez. We developed a modern and robust project, working together with our client.”
“We will continue to focus on growing together with our customers, either organically or through acquisitions, always inspired by Our Vision: To be the first option in refrigerated logistics solutions in South America, by 2023”, emphasizes Francisco Moura, CEO of SuperFrio.
